I really dislike Abercrombie & Fitch. The clothes are waaaay fucking over priced (especially for clothes that look like they're from a yardsale), the people who shop there annoy the shit out of me and on numerous occassions have sold tshirts with offensive (to me) imagery on them - like a slant eyed buck-tooth "oriental" a few years back. With that said, they are now upsetting some others with their new catalog. Apparently, instead of having pictures of models sporting the A&F clothes while doing cool college stuff, like camping and playing co-ed football, the clothes are separate in the back, while the front has models posing nude; including a young nude woman showering and 2 nude women in a jacuzzi. Have we really come to this as a culture? I figure we would, but now that it's here... wow. I remember Eddie Murphy's 80s standup where he said in the future a Coke ad would be a nake woman, spread eagle with "Drink Coke" under her. That's it. Looks like the future is now. Whatever, A&F. I'm still not shopping at your overrated pompous store. Jim Smash stoopid store! ARGH!!!But more importantly, someone send me a catalog.

That's how they get people like Jim, who wouldn't spend a dime in their obnoxious store that blasts dance pop mix all day long, to actually spend money there - naked girls in the catalog. Just goes to show you - sex sells.

They do this every year when this catalog comes out. Something of shock value/along the lines of nudity to get the attention put on them.
Come on, time to come up with something new.
well, I'm still not going to shop there. I really really really can't stand them. They are the "Paris Hilton and Tara Reid" of clothing stores.
Naked people make America spend $$! Corporate America is all about $$,consumers love to buy stuff, ergo, America is all about PORN.
It's the answer to everything. The sooner you face it the sooner you can embrace it.
