RIP GARY GYGAX

Sad news today for my D&D friends.... GARY GYGAX, co-founder of Dungeons & Dragons, died today at the age of 69. (more)

"
There is something in D&D that strikes a chord in many people; the call of adventure."

"I am certainly happy that it has made people happy and brought so many people together. There is a great fellowship among role players."

Here is a great clip from Freaks & Geeks:

I'm sure they'll create a god or religion based on him in 4th edition. (Which, by the way, seems to be an attempt to bring current MMO type game-play to pen & paper.)
