I've been looking at it all day.... overall I dig it.Hugo has the chops to do him justice, me thinks.

mask/make up looks great...
costume is an overdone design-by-commitee and takes the character out of the WWII era. nothing would have been wrong with a Hugo Boss SS uniform and greatcoat.
Still the movie could be great!
I agree about the costume. While I like it, I think it would make a much better Modern Day costume. The film is set in WWII, so put him in the Hugo Boss SS uniform & greatcoat like you said. Just replace the nazi swastika with the hydra logo.
Although I get why they would move away from the Nazi & SS look... it doesn't quite fit into the big marketing machine. I mean, I don't think Marvel Entertainment, Hasbro, etc wouldn't want Nazi Swastikas on Burger King toys and Nazi Flags adorning the toy aisle. I get it.
Trouble is stick him in something simple and everybody cries CHEAP !!!
Overall I'm digging it!

So its the opposite. In the comic he WAS human or all of the Nazis and Wanna-Be Nazis were at one point in time. Minus any issues of self possession and body hopping thanks to the cosmic cube. o dear, o dear...
